How I started painting CD's?

In 1999 I was already heavily into painting with acrylics. My partner collected CD's that are not used anymore and started to draw on them with a marker. This started my first experiments with acrylic paint on a CD. It seems that with thin layers one can get great results. The colours I use are the same as the one I use on my canvas and for painting on evelopes. Below you find a first impression of CD's that were created over the years. More are to follow it the coming weeks.
